MusicLevelUp

Your data

Privacy policy

MusicLevelUp uses only the information needed to operate your account, save progress and, with your consent, measure site usage.

No targeted advertising

Your data is not used to personalise ads, and Google advertising signals remain disabled.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you consent. You can decline or change your choice at any time.

Private account data

Your email is never shown in leaderboards. Only your username may appear, and only if you allow it.

What data do we use?

When you create an account, MusicLevelUp stores your username, email address, authentication information and leaderboard visibility choice.

The app may also store your progress, scores, game levels and feedback you submit.

Why do we use this data?

It secures your session, restores progress across devices, displays game results and helps improve the application from submitted feedback.

Hosting and storage

The application is hosted by Vercel. Accounts, sessions and progress are stored in a PostgreSQL database managed by Neon. Technical secrets are not stored in the public GitHub repository.

Cookies and analytics

Technical account-session data is separate from Google Analytics. Analytics stays disabled until you select “Accept” in the consent panel.

If you decline, no Google Analytics script is loaded. After accepting, “Cookie settings” reopens your preferences and can remove analytics cookies from this domain.

Your choices and rights

You can request access, correction or deletion of account data through the app’s Feedback section. Deleting an account removes associated data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
